Modern Imperforate Stamps

Beginning with Scott 4694-4697, the U.S. Postal Service made available for sale imperforate uncut press sheets of selected commemorative and definitive issues. These issues were made from the same plates as the fully die cut and divided pane stamps. Knowing this, it can be said that the imperforate sheet issues are unfinished sheets lacking die cuts and division into regular sized panes. The U.S. Postal Service stopped issuing these sheets in 2016 with Scott 5057. They resumed issuing these sheets in 2021 with Scott 5543.
